Mia is a photographer and video-based artist from Miami, FL, currently based in Toronto, where she’s completing her BFA. With travel as a defining part of her upbringing, she developed an intuitive sense of adaptability, attention to detail, and an appreciation for the different rhythms and cultural ways of living. Deeply influenced by music, environmental structures, and people–Mia enjoys exploring the layers of personal and collective experience, with the aim to bring forth genuine expressions of the human condition, and to deconstruct the constraints of perspective.
